This is a general reminder to subscription-paying members that membership renewals for 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027 are now due. Subscriptions can be paid in person at a Branch or Geographic Network event. If these options are not suitable, we have alternate, safe options to replace the in-person approach. You can ask your bank to assist by making a one-off payment to the National Office bank account. Alternately consider setting up an annual payment so your membership renewal is processed automatically each year. Internet and phone banking are also options you can use to pay your annual subscription.

We have two subscription rates. For Ordinary (voting) Members and Associate Members it is $10 per year, or $30 per year for those able to contribute this amount. There is no longer a rate that differentiates between working and non-working members. You choose the rate that best meets your circumstances. For Ordinary (voting) Members, keeping your membership current ensures you can participate in Blind Citizens NZ elections, and other democratic processes. The $300 Member-for-Life subscription remains available to Ordinary (voting) Members.

A renewal form follows for anyone wishing to take advantage of this reminder. If providing subscription payment details to your bank, you may wish to take this issue of Focus with you. This will ensure you have the account details at hand.
